The Smile stopped by the NPR office to play “Tiny Desk Concert.” The group performed songs from their debut album, A Light For Attracting Attention: “bow vision,””The Dog,” and “Screening on the Surface.” Thom Yorke, Jonny Greenwoodand Tom Skinner joined by saxophonist Robert Stillman for the show. Last month, Smile released a live album titled The Smile (Live at Montreux Jazz Festival, July 2022). Before that, they were the musical guests on an episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. Fittingly, they made their debut on US television by playing “You’ll Never Work in Television Again.”
