Jane Doe was represented by Neama Rahmani, president of West Coast Trial Lawyers. Rahmani also represents a different woman nabbed Soulja Boy in January for assault and sexual battery. In a statement about the new lawsuit, Rahmani said:

Luckily our client was able to get out of Way’s reign of terrorism and domestic abuse. Still, she struggles to change her life as she faces the stress, fear and depression that have perpetuated her suffering from the years she remained emotionally and mentally captive to Way. She is concerned about her daughter’s safety and security and about her ability to rebuild her career. How many women’s lives will Way ruin before he answers? We plan to end it here.

In response to the first lawsuit, a Soulja Boy representative spoke TMZ, “Soulja would never put his hands on a woman.” Pitchfork reached out to Soulja Boy’s representatives and attorneys for comment and more information about the new case.
