Organizers of the southern California pool party mecca Splash House Announced the big event in the 2021 return.
Known for the good location of Palm Springs, the sun-kissed festival was forced to leave the 2020 edition due to the impact of COVID-19. The festival usually takes place on two weekends in June and August, but after the organizers had to pull out the June 2021 edition, they chose to return the festival on consecutive weekends in August: 13- 15 and 20-22, respectively. .
Along with the festival date changes will also come an update on his fan-favorite Riviera season, which now has a new name: Margaritaville. No word yet on whether or not Jimmy Buffett will appear.
Until going to pandemic, festival “Health and Safety” webpage found that the organizers collaborated with law enforcement and public safety agencies. “We are optimistic and plan for the festival in line with national trends of reducing COVID-19 cases and increasing immunization as well as input from local health officials,” the site reads. “However, we are continuing to monitor the situation and we will only continue the festival if it is safe to do so.”
If Splash House 2021 doesn’t happen, ticket owners have the option to request a refund or roll over their festival pass next year.
Tickets will be available starting Thursday, June 17 at 12PM PT. You can register for access HERE.
