As a follow-up to David Ayer Suicide Squad (2016), The Suicide Squad introduced the new arrivals Bloodsport, Peacemaker, Ratcatcher 2, Polka-Dot Man, and Nanaue ak.a. King Shark (voiced by Sylvester Stallone with Steve Agee’s stand-in work) to Rick Flag, Harley Quinn, and Task Force X. Follow in the footsteps of Guardians of the Galaxy dako, Gunn’s latest anthropomorphic, CGI creation, King Shark became a favorite of DCEU fans.

The Suicide SquadThe unwise, but loving descendant of an ancient shark god spends the beginning of the film struggling with an insatiable hunger for “names. ” Cleo Cazo/Ratcatcher 2 teaches King Shark to recognize the friend from food, making him an important member of Task Force X’s group of the outcasts on their Corto Maltese mission. On Tuesday, October 26, The Suicide Squad and, in turn, Task Force X has become available in Blu-ray, 4K, and DVD formats, in addition to digital rentals that are fully equipped with many special features.

Gunn recently took to Instagram to share a behind the scenes video of how King Shark’s footprints were made for a deleted the scene in The Suicide Squad. The video shows props master Drew Petrotta walking the character’s steps through the streets of Panama City, where the film’s Corto Maltese showdown was filmed with Starro the Conqueror. The Suicide SquadThe home edition features Gunn’s commentary, a gag reel, alternate trailer, and, of course, deleted / extended scenes. In total, there are eight additional scenes, three of which feature one of Gunn’s favorite characters to write about, King Shark. The scenes provide a bigger view of who King Shark is, with one of the scenes seeing him playing with the two kids and another seeing him looking out the bus window. longing to fit in with the world around him — a scene. Gunn had said before that he did not want to be cut.

There is no denying the impressive quality of The Suicide SquadSpecial effects, of which King Shark himself is a prime example. It remains to be seen if fans will see him walk into the upcoming DCEU project led by Gunn. Even John Cena’s Peacemaker seems to have been killed by Bloodsport’s The Suicide Squad, the film’s credit scene reveals he is alive in the hospital. He is now set to work with Vigilante (Freddie Stroma), Emilia Harcourt (Jennifer Holland), and John Economos (Steve Agee) on “ssave the f — ing world.
