Tears of Fear ‘”Break the Man”: Stream

Next month, Tears of Fear release The Tipping Point, their first new album in 17 years. Today, they’re sharing their latest single, “Break the Man,” which you can stream below.

With light piano and explosive guitar, “Break the Man” is a glittering ode to women outraged against patriarchy. “I feel like a lot of the problems we’re experiencing as a country and even around the world on some level come from male dominance,” Tears for Fears singer Curt Smith said of the single. “It’s a song about a woman who has enough energy to break a man. For me, that could be the answer to many of the world’s problems – better male and female balance.

“Break the Man” is the third single from The Tipping Point, which arrives Feb. 25 via Concord Records. Preorders are available HERE. Tears for Fears previously shared with title track, as well as the unmarried “Nothing Small.”

In addition to releasing their first full batch of new songs in nearly two decades, synth pop legends will be coming out on way this year with Garbage. Tour tickets are now on sale through Ticketmaster.
