Ted Lasso Season 3 Premiere Reveals New Heartache For Ted

Once back above ground, Ted is summoned to Rebecca’s office.

“I’m angry because the team I own was scheduled to finish last season,” he yelled at him, “and my manager decided to skip training and take our players to a f–king sewer .”

When Ted tells Rebecca he has no plans replied to Nate’s comment about himhe urges him to stand up for himself and his team.

“I’m begging you, please,” he said. “Fight back.”

However, at his own pre-season press conference, Ted didn’t take his advice and instead called Nate’s comments “ridiculous,” while making the press room laugh at his cheesy, yet charming, American sense of humor.

Off the field and away from the office, Roy (Brett Goldstein) and Keeley addressed the elephant in the room: their relationship. At the end of season two, the couple revealed that they would be spending their respective summers apart from each other.

In a conversation with Roy’s niece Phoebe (Elodie Blomfield), they don’t say words.

“We broke up,” Roy told her, while Keeley assured Phoebe that they were still friends.

Easier said than done.

Back home, Ted calls Henry on FaceTime to ask about his flight. During the call, Henry reveals a glowing Thanos hand like the one the MCU villain wears in Avengers: Infinity War.

“Jake gave it to me,” Henry told his dad, to which Ted replied, “Who’s Jake?”

“Mama’s friend,” said Henry, which made Ted’s face cringe.

Suddenly he has more than just a last-place finish in the league to worry about.
