Crunchyroll has announced that it will stream its new two-episode original video animation on My Hero Academia on August 1, 2022.
The new OVA will launch in August in the United States, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Latin America, and Europe. The North American premiere of OVA took place yesterday during this year’s Anime Expo, where fans in attendance will see the new OVA.
Both episodes are scheduled to air in Japan on June 16-19, 2022, before being available on streaming services later in the summer. The first episode is a new story focused on Hero League Baseball, while the second episode takes place during the arc “Endeavor’s Agency Internship” in the fifth season.
For those who need to be careful My Hero Academia, the series is now available to stream in its entirety now. Currently, all 113 episodes of the anime are available to stream in both subbed and dubbed formats Crunchyroll and Funimation for those looking to catch up. The sixth season of the series is also in production.
My Hero Academia began as a manga series written and illustrated by Kohei Horikoshi. It was first serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump in 2014. The anime television adaptation made its debut in 2016. Both are still going strong.
