According to The deadlineAmazon Studios is now in final negotiations to acquire the worldwide rights to Emerald Fennell’s next Oscar -winning directorial feature, Saltburn. The project will be led by Oscar nominee Rosamund Pike, Euphoria breakout Jacob Elordi, and Eternals star Barry Keoghan, and is set to start filming this summer in the UK.

Saltburn directed by Emerald Fennell. It is reportedly a story of obsession, centered on a large English aristocratic family. The project will be done by Fennell with Josey McNamara, Tom Ackerley, and Margot Robbie through LuckyChap Entertainment.
Fennell earned recognition with his feature-length directorial debut Promising Young Woman, led by Carey Mulligan. For his work on the 2020 film, The Crown The alum won Academy Awards for Best Original Screenplay from three nominations. She is currently in production for Greta Gerwig’s live-action Barbie film.

Pike is known for his acclaimed performance in David Fincher’s 2014 psychological thriller. No more Girl, which earned her an Oscar nomination for Best Actress. For his performance in the black comedy thriller I Care a lot, she won a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress in a Musical or Comedy. He will next be seen in the upcoming second season of the Prime Video fantasy series The Wheel of Time.
