Fresh off his first ever Grammy nomination for his last album, ILLENIUM doubled down by releasing his fifth LP in 2023. He took to social media today to reveal his upcoming self-titled album, ILLENIUMwhich will be released on April 28. Fans can pre-saved the record now.
“For me, a self-titled album is the core sound of who I am,” ILLENIUM wrote. “I saw this album and it was a story as a prequel to Trilogy, where I explored my original musical inspirations and mixed something that really felt fresh.”
“Trilogy” refers to ILLENIUM’s early, career-defining work, a triptych of albums dating back to 2016’s Ashes. His exciting fourth album, Fallen Embers, effectively marking the end of an era for the dance music superstar, who bid adieu through a big “Trilogy” stadium show in Las Vegas.
ILLENIUM has also unveiled a world tour, featuring a full band and kicking off at the Gorge Amphitheater in May. Pre-sale for ‘ILLENIUM Live” starts on Tuesday, January 24th at 10am local time HERE.
