Following the latest The Mandalorian The release of the Season 3 trailer, Lucasfilm finally confirmed the directorial lineup for the much anticipated comeback hit Star Wars consecutively. The eight new episodes will be directed by returning filmmakers Rick Famuyiwa, Carl Weathers, and Bryce Dallas Howard. They will be joined by award-winning directors Lee Isaac Chung (in pain) and Peter Ramsey (Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse), with Black Panther cinematographer Rachel Morrison.

“The Mandalorian travels through Star Wars galaxy continues. Once a lone hunter, Din Djarin also befriends Grogu,” says the synopsis. “Meanwhile, the New Republic struggles to lead the galaxy from its dark history. The Mandalorian will cross paths with old allies and make new enemies as he and Grogu continue their journey to together.

the Star Wars The series is led by Pedro Pascal as the lone Mandalorian gunfighter in the outer reaches of the galaxy. Before the new season, Pascal’s Din Djarin previously appeared on Disney+’s The Book of Boba Fettwhich sees Djarin and Grogu reunited after the events of The Mandalorian The season 2 finale.

The Mandalorian from executive producers Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, Kathleen Kennedy, Colin Wilson, Karen Gilchrist, and Carrie Beck. Favreau is also set as showrunner and one of its directors.

Season 3 is set to premiere March 1 on Disney+.
