As reported by ComicBook.com, Smith gave an update on the status of his sequel series while chatting with co-host Marc Bernardin, on their Fatman Beyond podcast. Read what Smith says below:

I think … this week maybe, you might see some images. I think some of the first newspaper broke. I’m not sure if I have freedom of speech, but there’s a preview coming. I did a talk for it, and I had to approve the images, so I knew you could see the first images released. I think that’s the coming week. In other news, I saw the teaser trailer … which was f ** king phenomenal. About a minute and a half. They found a piece of music that perfectly kissed Jeff, especially the material. Very nice. Like I knew this f ** king series was on and off, and it came back to me and it started to look good too. I was like ‘Holy shit.’ That Netflix marketing department, they know what they’re doing. That’s the trailer I saw. It’s a great place, so I can’t say when you’ll see it, but if I see it now then it’s coming very close.

With what Smith said he was recently knows when the series is scheduled to debut on Netflix and is preparing for an announcement soon, as if his timeline continues. In addition, with production starting as early as 2019, the timing of the delivery of stages to audiences with animators working from home, seems almost over for its imminent arrival. Smith’s praise of Netflix’s sales department is also an understandable feeling, as the service has done well to cut out exciting trailers and posters for some of their much -anticipated and celebrated titles.

The recent announcement of Centineo’s departure from the reboot film was definitely a disappointment to fans who were excited to see He-Man return to the big screen, but Smith scoffs Masters of the Universe: Revelation can come as quickly as possible to help lay down sad feelings in bed. Now it is unclear whether it will connect to win an Emmy Siya-Ra, even if not, now could be the perfect time for fans to dive back into the world of Etheria and Eternia to prepare for the arrival of the next series.
