The Pictures of Ms. Marvel Mocked the Power of Kamala, Superhero Fandom, and More


Some new images for the highly anticipated upcoming Disney + series Ms. Marvel released, featuring Kamala Khan showcasing his powers, the world of superhero fandom, and more.

The new images are from the series ’new conquest of Empire, and show actress Iman Vellani as Kamala Khan in a variety of locations, including what it looks like flying in the sky and ready to release some of his powers. In another photo, Khan appears to be wearing some kind of show, dressed entirely in Captain Marvel cosplay, while the people behind him are also wearing different Captain Marvel-themed costumes.

Ms. Marvel starred newcomer Iman Vellani in her acting debut as Kamala Khan, which also marks the live-action debut of the fan-favorite Marvel character. Among Vellani are Aramis Knight, Saagar Shaikh, Rish Shah, Zenobia Shroff, Mohan Kapur, Matt Lintz, Yasmeen Fletcher, Laith Naki, Azher Usman, Travina Springer, and Nimra Bucha.

“The series introduces Kamala Khan — a 16-year-old Pakistani American from Jersey City,” reads the official synopsis. “An aspiring artist, an avid gamer, and an avid fan-fiction scribe, he’s a big fan of the Avengers — and one in particular, Captain Marvel. But Kamala has always struggled to find his place in world — that is, until he acquires superpowers like the heroes he has always sought.

Ms. Marvel under the direction of executive producers Adil El Arbi & Bilall Fallah, Meera Menon, and Sharmeen Obaid-Chinoy.

After the series, Vellani’s new hero will next appear in Nia DaCosta’s Captain Marvel sequel titled. The Wonders starring opposite Brie Larson and Teyonah Parris, which is now set for release on July 28, 2023.
