The 5-track project is shown in demonstrations from Vince Staples (“6 Five Heartbeats”) and Danny Brown, who are guests of “Flying Spirit” along with Bruiser Brigade comrades JUS, Bruiser Wolf, and Fat Ray. Other artists recruited by Alchemists This Thing of Ours 2 excluded BLUE (“Miracle Child”), MIKE (“Lossless”), and ZelooperZ (“Wildstyle”).
Earlier this year, Alchemist led two of the best rap releases of 2021, Bo Jackson with them Boldy James and Armand Hammer Haram. He has also done standout tracks including “Iron Steel Samurai” by Quelle Chris and AZ’s Conway the Machine and Lil Wayne’s collaboration on “Ritual,” which we Rap Song of the Week.
