Topher and Ashley, 34, who married in 2016, are also parents to a daughter Mabel Jane,5 and a second child born in 2020. The hosting actor joked Kelly Clarkson that as his family grew, the reactions of those around the couple changed with each child.
“Everyone says to the first child that they’re like-Opportunity,” the BlackKkKlansman said the actor. “The second one, they’re like—congratulations and the third kid, it’s—congratulations?—with a question mark.”‘
Still, Kelly was enthusiastic about the news, replying, “That’s exciting. Your family is growing, that’s great.” Prompting Topher to add, “Yeah. check me back in about a year.”
The soon-to-be father of three clearly has a sense of humor.
