Alvweiss shows the The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon on Tuesday night (January 10) for a performance of their single “Belinda said” from Blue Rev, their latest album. This marked the band’s late night TV debut. Watch it happen below.
Starting in March, Alvvays will go on a world tour in support of Blue Rev. In addition to dates in the US and their hometown of Canada, Alvvays will be playing live in Europe. Along the way, they will perform at festivals such as Primavera Sound and Dot to Dot Festival.
Last month, Alvvays tapped an unexpected collaborator to create a music video for “Many Mirrors“: Stardew Valley creator Eric “ConcernedApe” Barone. “When I found out they were fans Stardew Valley, it feels like a real honor,” he said. “The whole album is amazing, but the song ‘Many Glasses’ has a pure, adventurous energy to it that really appeals to me. I took that feeling, and used it to create a visual world through the eyes of I think.
