In January, Paris and Carter—who tied the knot in November 2021—announcing the news of arrival of their child on Instagram with a picture of Paris’ hand wrapped around her baby boy.
He captioned the beautiful introduction“You are loved beyond words.”
And even though Kathy was thrilled with the newest addition to her family, she didn’t know Phoenix was born. until it happened.
So when Paris broke the news, she knew she had to go prepared, SPEAKING Rolling Stone in an interview published on March 14, “I was like, if I give her Chanel first, maybe she won’t be upset that I didn’t tell her about it.”
And the 41-year-old recounted the emotional introduction.
“I put the baby on my shoulder with a blanket, and then I sat down,” Paris explained. “He was like, ‘What is that?’ And I said, ‘A child … meet your grandchild.’ He said, ‘Is this yours?’ And she cried. She said, ‘Let me hug her. She’s the most beautiful baby I’ve ever seen in my life. Oh, she’s so beautiful.’ He was just crying.”
