Rahul Sipligunj and Kaala Bhairava performed the song “Naatu Naatu” from RRR tonight at the 95th Academy Awards. The two sang the track live while more than two dozen actors recreated the dance part from the film in period clothing. The song by Sipligunj, Bhairava, and MM Keeravani was nominated and won Best Original Song. Watch it happen below.
“Come in Come in” won the Golden Globe for Best Original Song earlier this year. The song is nominated tonight at the Oscars along with “Lift Me Up“(Black Panther: Wakanda Forever); Son Lux, Mitski, and David Byrne’s “It’s A Life“(Everything Everywhere Everything at Once); “Applause” by Diane Warren; and Lady Gaga for “Hold My Hand“(Top Gun: Maverick).
