Watch Ravyn Lenae’s “Tiny Desk Concert” for NPR

Ravyn Lenae shared a performance for “NPR’sTiny Desk Concertsequentially. Madame sang HYPNOSIS tracks “Venom,” “Skin Tight”“ Inside Out, ”and“sticky”During the set. He is accompanied by bassist Marcus Reddick, drummer Danielle “Dee” Thompson, keyboardist Harrison “Achee” Hawkins, guitarist Garrett Jones, and vocalists Aja Grant and Phylicia Hill. Ravyn Lenae recently released her debut album HYPNOSISwho followed him Midnight Moonlight EP and Crush EP, issued in 2017 and 2018, respectively. Her edition of “Tiny Desk” marks one of the first performances to be held at the physical small table since June 2020 (apart from the annual “Tiny Desk” winners of the NPR competition: Neffy in 2021 and Alisa Amador in 2022).

Lenae’s “Tiny Desk” set is also part of NPR’s celebration of Juneteenth and Black Music Month. Other performers who participated in the series were FKA branches, Denzel Curry, Monica, Adekunle Gold, and others. The celebration will feature 11 “Tiny Desk” and “Tiny Desk (Home)” concerts, curated by NPR Music “Tiny Desk” producer Bobby Carter.

After the fall HYPNOSIS last month, Lenae shared a music video for Kaytranada-produced track “Xtasy. ” He is currently touring behind his new album.
