Watch Warren Buffett’s Q&A with shareholders live and without cable

The Warren Buffett faithful are gathering again in Omaha, Nebraska, hoping to get a pearl of wisdom from America’s top investor.

Berkshire Hathaway’s annual shareholder meeting, dubbed “Woodstock for Capitalists,” will hold its annual shareholder meeting on Saturday.

It’s a three-day event that offers everything from shopping, to a 5K race, to a picnic, and attracts 40,000 people from around the world each year.

Others came for the festival. Some are for celebrities (Apple’s Tim Cook and actor Bill Murray appeared last year). But most came to hear Buffett and his vice chairman, Charlie Munger, offer their thoughts on investing and the current climate. Together, the pair offers a multihour seminar (last year five hours, with a break for lunch).

As for Buffett and Munger? They are in it for Coca Cola and See’s peanut brittle.

“Charlie and I have no shame, Buffett wrote his letter to shareholders earlier this year. “Last year, at our first shareholder meeting in three years, we greeted you with our usual commercial rush. From the opening bell, we went straight for your wallet. In short order, our See’s kiosk sells you eleven tons of nutritious peanut brittle and chocolates. In our PT Barnum pitch, we promise you a long life. After all, what else but candy from See can cause us to- did Charlie reach 99 and 92?”
