Western Nation Announces New EP Members, Share New Video: Watch


Band in Nashville Western Countries announces a new cover EP. the own title record arrived June 18 through Fat Possum, and will feature versions of Richard and Linda Thompson’s tracks, Dead Moon, and more, as well as an original song. Today (May 11), Country Westerns shared their rendition of Jad Fair (Half Japanese) and Norman Blake’s (Teenage Fanclub) “Undeletable,” along with an official video. Check it out below.

“I’ve always been a fan of both Half Japanese and Teenage Fanclub, I’m lucky to have found this record,” Country Westerns ’Joseph Plunket said in a press release. “I feel like it’s become a song in our band. It reminds me of AC / DC’s ‘It’s a Far Way Height’ (If You Want to Rock N ’Roll). ‘It’s a much more positive song than I can write. I love it and I hope we do it justice. ”

National Country EP recorded in practice in the garage space at the home of drummer Brian Kotzur. Most of the EP was put live, while “Undeleteable” was recorded over the course of several shorter sessions.
