Bobby Brown isn’t veiled like Crab in The Masked Singer. Here’s what he did before appearing on stage as a wildcard contestant.
When the fifth season of The Masked Singer premiered in early March, it saw a host of guests and a spin like no other. This season introduces the wildcard contestants to the show who will try to take the place of the rest of the competition. In the fourth week, Wildcard Crab takes the stage. After three episodes, Crab is taken to a double drying on the Seashell bed. The crustacean is revealed to be none other than Bobby Brown. Find out what the music star has done before competing for the mask.
Bobby started music as a member of the band New Edition the other day, but left the group at the beginning in 1986. Perhaps best known for him is that he married the late famous Whitney Houston from 1992 to 2007. Throughout marriage, the couple went through periods of infidelity, domestic violence, and alleged drug use prior to their divorce. However, Bobby denies that drug use was always part of their marriage.

With the first introduction of Crab, fans immediately began to speculate on who would be under the mask. While many people, including Screen Rant, Bobby Brown correctly guessed, there is no way to ensure 100% until the mask is removed. Prior to appearing on the show, Brown was an avid watcher of the competition with his wife and children, according to KANANG USA. Brown happily lives with his wife, Alicia Etheredge, a talented producer, whom he married in 2012 (via Instagram).
Brown also revealed that he has been working on a new album for the past few years, so fans can keep an eye on that. According to Brown, the album features several dance tracks, some love songs, and some personal songs he wrote. Brown has been perfecting the album for a while now, and has just been waiting for the perfect hour to release it. In addition, Brown will also spend a lot of time with his three youngest children – Hendrix, 4, Bodhi, 5, and Cassius, 12.
In this new round of the show, many fans aren’t sure what to expect The Masked Singer season five. With only four episodes left until the end, it could be anyone’s game at this point. But what is known is that viewers can’t wait to find out who is behind the mask once everything is revealed.
The Masked Singer will air Wednesday at 8 p.m. ET on FOX.
