Starting back in 2019, the WF-1000XM3 uses the same QN1e HD processor found in Sony’s flagship WH-1000XM3 headphone, resulting in better sound quality and performance cancellation. As for the charging case as well, omitting the WF-1000XM3’s dual-tone brass trim for a more prosaic matte black look. Sony’s next big TWS earphones are reported to arrive a few hours in June.
WF-1000XM4 Upgrade Available
It is only suitable for WF-1000XM4 with many subjects such as the more versatile version of the headphone, because the earbuds must be within the same generation. In addition to the updated design, the new earbuds supposedly support high-res wireless audio, such as Sony’s LDAC. The leak suggested that the case may have wireless billing support, said to be able to charge if placed on top of an Xperia 1 III smartphone.
In addition, the WF-1000XM4 is reported to benefit from faster charging speeds than its predecessor as well. However, there is still no word on whether it will support AptX, whether the earbuds could last more than six hours of running time in the current version, or whether the new earbuds will have some form of water- proofing. Regardless, apart from the new look of the case design, the WF-1000XM4 earbuds clearly sound better than the current model, which is said to be much offered by Sony’s WF-1000XM3 including best ANC earbuds available to buy.
