Why Katie Austin Wants to Take the Word “Motivation” Out of Exercise

According to Denise, having social media accounts is one of the ways she stays on people’s radar, explaining that it’s “amazing because you hear from your people. I have to wait for the letters to come at the TV station.”

However, Katie explained that social media has its own downsides for both.

“He’s new to the haters. Back then, he was on TV and no one could DM his hate like they could to me,” Katie said. “I get a lot of haters online. Showing who you are and being vulnerable is really hard on social media, because you open up the world to say whatever opinions they want.”

“But,” Katie continued, looking on the bright side, “that’s also the beauty of it. Reaching out to a lot of people and making sure that all opinions are heard, I think getting that right away.” feedback is very important.”

But Katie points out that the benefits of exercise go beyond what it can do for a person physically, saying it’s “not only good for your physical health but I’m big on exercise for your mental health.”

“There are a lot of fitness programs about weight loss and I haven’t changed my workouts for that,” he continued. “I personally believe that you work to feel your best self. Working out actually makes you feel better, more confident, more productive and accomplished. This is also what makes my mom and I positive. It can really change your thinking and perspective.”
