Willow Smith Fronts Mom Jada Pinkett Smith’s Metal Band Evil Wisdom: Look

Willow Smith took a helluva surprise for his mother, Jada Pinkett Smith, in the Mother’s Day edition of the popular family Facebook series Red Talk Table. Will and Jada’s talented daughter not only reunited with her mother’s old metal band, Wicked Wisdom, she led them for a performance of their song “Bleed All Over Me”, which was much to Jada’s delight.

Jada created Wicked Wisdom in 2002, and recorded two albums with the band – 2004’s My Story and a self-titled title in 2006. Among the band’s highlights was the opening for Britney Spears to tour and play at the traveling 2005 Ozzfest. While the band has never officially parted ways, they have not been active for many years.

Willow, who recently released her own punk-infused rock song Transparent Soul featuring Travis Barker, set up the surprise by offering a little background before the show. “If I were, I’d say about 3 or 4, I toured with my mom and her band Wicked Wisdom,” Willow said of Red Talk Table episode. “Evil Wisdom is kindled. This is the music I grew up with. My mother is a superwoman, she is a rock star, warrior and caretaker of everything. So no sense badass… I’m my mom’s biggest fan. ”

He added, “Every night, I want to ride on the shoulder of the security guard and watch him perform. He’s a rock star, and I live for Wicked Wisdom. I feel it is only fitting for me to pay tribute to a time in her life because she showed what femininity really is. ”

Willow secretly invited original Wicked Wisdom members Pocket Honore and Taylor Graves and other musicians to set up outside the family home while Jada, Willow, and Jada’s mom Adrienne filmed the part to be “discussed” in Red Talk Table episode indoors. Towards the end, Willow lets Jada out to see her bandmates waiting there, with an entire stage setup.

If that wasn’t enough, Willow, who sports a Mastodon shirt, joined the band for a performance on “Bleed All Over Me” where she sang lead and played guitar. Jada can be seen dancing, headbanging, and singing as she brags about her son.
