This fall, I tackled a shiplap fireplace construction. This is not a difficult project, but it is a large project that requires a lot of materials and a lot of time. And since it’s the holiday season, I don’t expect to see any bragging posts anytime soon.
Well, was I wrong! We have it more new brag posts shared by Instagram, Facebookand such boasting posts.
A reader, IBSEENU shared a post that blew our minds!
The mantle part was one of the more challenging parts of my build because I used a real wooden beam (which is heavy and required blocking and lag screws).
It’s easier and smarter to make a mantle like this – that also adds flip down storage for controllers and remotes.
Lucky for you, you can! IBSEENU was generous enough to allow us to share the plans from this design.
