You Can Now Be An Echo Dot (4th Gen) To Baby Yoda

In honor of Star Wars Day, OtterBox is launching a new device for Amazon Echo Dot – a device that made it Grogu from The Mandalorian.

the Amazon Echo Dot (4th Gen) took a Mandalorian-theme change, with OtterBox launches a new tool turning the smart speaker into a Grogu – better known as Baby Yoda. This news came just in time for Star Wars Day, giving Star Wars fans another great addition to add to their collection.

Amazon launched the Echo Dot (4th Gen) in September 2020, and overall, it’s one of the most affordable money that money can buy. It has surprisingly good audio quality, doesn’t need any gaps, and has all the good features of Alexa that people have relied on over the years. It also offers a radical new design compared to previous generations, dropping the old hockey puck-like shape for a circular aesthetic. Add that along with three color options and a $ 50 retail price, and the Echo Dot (4th Gen) is hard to ignore.

As good as the Echo Dot looks at itself, that’s not to say there’s no room for improvement. Aiming to give Echo Dot a little acquaintance in honor of everyone’s favorite Star Wars holiday, Announced by OtterBox a Grogu themed stand for the speaker. Like Grogu / Baby Yoda coming from The Mandalorian, the stand has a shape, green ears and a tan base to mimic Grogu’s clothes. OtterBox previously released the same stand for the Echo Dot (3rd Gen), but now that the 4th Gen model is available, owners of the newer Echo Dot can also have fun.

For anyone interested in buying the stand for themselves, pre-orders are open now also on Amazon. OtterBox says shipping won’t start until June 10, but buyers can’t go ahead and secure their order now to make sure they’re with its first owner. The stand costs $ 24.95 in the US, making it a fairly affordable pickup.

While a standout like this won’t improve or change functionality for the Echo Dot (4th Gen), it’s a clear way to give it a more unique look than it already is. The round shape of the Echo Dot looks great, but it also doesn’t have a lot of character. This stand out from OtterBox completely fixes that, and makes it without spending a lot of money. It may not be a Star Wars accessory for everyone, but for those interested, it’s hard to ignore.
