Ten all around for Simone Biles’ wedding dress.
Just weeks after theirs court ceremony in Texas, the Olympian got married Jonathan Owens in front of friends and family in Cabo San Lucas. For the May 6 wedding, Simone rocked a Galia Lahav ballgown with a corset, high slit and floral embroidery on the sides. She completed the look with a hairstyle of loose waves and a white veil.
While choosing a wedding dress can seem daunting, the athlete has no doubts about where to go.
“When I started shopping for clothes, I was like if I get married, I have to be a Galia Lahav,” Simone shared in a Vogue video from her last dress fitting published May 7. “And so the moment I looked at the clothes, I was like this is really my style. I like thin, I like how it fits, and then the little pearl details, I love pearls. If I wanted anything else in my wedding, it would be flowers and pearls.”
And while she’s no stranger to having all eyes on her, walking down the aisle is a different story.
