Winter is coming… and so is the new Game of Thrones prequel
HBO dropped its first trailer for Dragon House on Tuesday, October 5. According to network, the show – based on George RR Martinthe Fire and Blood—scheduled 200 years before Game of Thrones story and gives a history of House Targaryen.
“200 years before the fall of the throne,” the teaser says, “a dynasty reigned.”
While playing the sneak peek, the audience heard a voiceover from Matt Smith, who plays Prince Daemon Targaryen.
“Gods. Kings. Fire. And blood,” he said. “We’re not made kings of dreams. Made by dragons.”
They also saw a series of action-packed fight scenes and saw the star-studded cast perform. In addition to Smith, who is known to fans The Crown and Who doctor, forms of performance Best Eve (Nurse Jackie), Paddy think (The Outside), Olivia Cooke (Player One is ready), Emma D’Arcy (Truth Seekers), Rhys Ifans (Notting Hill, Ang Amazing Spider-Man), Wil Johnson (Awakening of the Dead), John Macmillan (King Lear knew), Sonoya Mizuno (Ex Machina, Maniac), Theo Nate (time), Savannah Steyn (Intergalactic) ug Steve Toussaint (Pine Gap).
