Zeppelin Reunion Doesn’t “Satisfy My Need To Be Excited”

Robert Plant again downgrading the idea of ​​a Led the Zeppelin reunion.

In a new interview with Los Angeles Timesthe legendary singer shot down the idea, responding with a comment suggesting that “a lot of fans would love” to hear him sing with Led Zeppelin again.

“Going back to the font to get some kind of big applause — it just doesn’t satisfy my need to be stimulated,” Plant said.

This follows his comments last year that suggested looking at the bands staying together for a long time “so sad” on the stage. That said, in a new interview he was a little kinder to fellow classic rock acts who are still on tour. “I know there are people from my generation who don’t want to stay at home and so they go out and play,” he said. “If they’re enjoying it and doing what they have to do to get through the days, then that’s their business, really.

“I just go out and sing,” Plant said. “I knew a guy from a famous band… he would pour sugar on me or something — that made a complete hullabaloo backstage. I came back one time and he was bleeding.
