ZHU Reveals New Album, Says It Will Be Recorded In A Cathedral

ZHU announced that he is finishing a new album.

In a cryptic post shared on ZHU’s Instagram, the Grammy-nominated “Faded” artist said she can’t decide if she wants to share details about her upcoming album. One of the images on the carousel read in bold red letters: “Is it dangerous enough?” followed by a performance announcement for the following week.

ZHU added that he finished the album in a cathedral and recorded it live. He will then play the entire record at Grace Cathedral in San Francisco “when the clock strikes zero.”

“I’m excited to enter this new era of my artistry and start releasing music again,” he said in a press release. “There will be more revelations to come.”

In March, ZHU released the second installment in his “Musical Chairs” mixtape series. The tape spans a magical 23 minutes and is filled with soulful music. Last month, hedrops a hypnotic, unreleased tune at the Zamna Festival in the jungles of Tulum. The track slides perfectly into his discography with its sultry mix of house and R&B flavor.
