But by all accounts, Sadie and Sunny seem like a normal couple Taylor Swift– and Olivia Rodrigo– loving teenagers (Adam is found August 9 on the Eras Tour in LA, it was definitely a family outing) who were cool on set and grew up too fast for their father’s taste.
He said to Daddy Issues that, when they were small, he assured them that he would destroy any boy who looked at them funny. Recently, Jackie told him that he should prepare to be friends with these potential suitors one day, so he tried to adjust his approach accordingly.
“I changed a little bit,” he said. “When I talk about their future … I talk about, ‘You know, you want a good guy that you can trust, that will watch over you, blah blah blah’—I came to that world. I don’t think so [growly voice]’F–k everybody, you don’t need that s–t, all you need is me.'”
Although the most important thing, of course, is that Sadie and Sunny know they got him.
That being said, he’s not going to stay forever, Adam cracks, so “I want to make sure they’re with someone decent.”
