Shakira seems to be criticized by Ex Gerard Piqué and His Boyfriend in a New Song

Shakira can’t lie when it comes to his music.

In his latest single, “BZRP Music Session #53,” a collaboration with Argentine DJ Shavingthe singer seems to be throwing shade at his ex Gerard Pique, whom he divorced in June 2022.

“You left me with in-laws as my neighbors / Media outlets at my door and in debt,” his lyrics translated into English read. “You think you hurt me, but you made me stronger / Girls don’t cry anymore, they cash in.”

On the upbeat track, Shakira also appears to take aim at Gerard’s 23-year-old girlfriend, Clara Chia Marti.

“I’m glad you’re lucky to be my replacement / I don’t know what happened to you,” he sings. “You’re so weird you don’t even know me / I’m worth two out of 22 [year old] / You trade a Ferrari for a Twingo / You trade a Rolex for a Casio.”
