Wood Garden Pathway Ideas (Maybe For My Walkway?)

[ad_1]

So now I’m wondering if I can combine ideas from both paths to create a tree path that works for our specific needs. Instead of pallet boards, I want to use Trex, or at least, I want boards treated for contact with the ground. And maybe I could put some gravel or crushed granite as a base so that the water drains off the boards. And then I secure them in place using Laura’s method of securing them with long landscape pins.

I’ll have to think about it, take more measurements, compare the prices of Trex and treated boards, etc. Any idea I know for that path is a bit expensive just because it’s long, but I really want to find a way to make a beautiful path. I’m considering gravel, crushed granite, a mulch path, concrete, asphalt. If I could pick my absolute favorite material for a walkway, it would be wood (or Trex). Maybe I should start a GoFundMe for my driveway. 😀 It’s just a joke. But once I get started, it probably takes two or three summers to finish it. I’m definitely on the long-term plan as far as landscaping goes!
