On April 20, A $AP Rocky is arrested at Los Angeles International Airport in connection with an unreported shooting that occurred on November 6, 2021. A$AP Relli, former member of A $AP Mob, has now come forward claiming to be a victim of the shooting. His lawyers have revealed by Rolling Stone that Relli (whose real name is Terell Ephron) will file a civil suit against Rocky.

According to attorneys Jamal Tooson and Brian Hurwitz, Rocky lured Relli to a central location in Hollywood under the understanding that they would “discuss a disagreement between the two of them.” The lawyers claimed that Rocky arrived with a semi-automatic gun. “Upon arrival at the location, a conversation ensued where without provocation, warning, or any justification, A$AP Rocky produced a handgun and intentionally fired several shots at Mr. Ephron.”

Relli’s lawyers say he has received “numerous death threats and irreparable damage to his career in the entertainment industry as a result of this incident.” Pitchfork reached out to A$AP Rocky’s representatives.

According to police reports, the shooting victim—who has not yet been identified as Relli—reportedly told police that Rocky, who was walking with two other people, approached him on the street while holding a gun. He alleged that Rocky shot him three to four times, and he believed that one of the bullets went through his left hand.

Rocky and Relli used to be friends in high school. Relli is not a rapper himself, but Rocky is credited with originally bringing him to A$AP Yams’ group. Relli is a talent manager and producer.
